1. Who we are and what this covers
TFWDS operates anonymous receiving and email forwarding tools on this domain. You can reach us at support@tempfwds.com. This notice covers the website, related interfaces and support communications you initiate.
This notice does not control how third-party websites use the email address you submit to them. Read the relevant website’s privacy policy and registration terms separately.
2. Data processed by temporary email
When you create a temporary email address, the system generates an address, access token, creation time and expiry time. When messages arrive, we process sender details, the subject, message content and delivery time so they can be shown in the current inbox.
A temporary email does not require registration of your real identity, and attachments are not retained. Once the address expires, related content enters the cleanup process. Do not use a temporary inbox for long-term storage or account recovery.
3. Data processed by forwarding
When you use the forwarding console, we process your destination email address, login verification result, aliases, enabled or paused status, quota and creation time. To complete forwarding, we also process message content, attachments, delivery status and necessary error information.
Your destination email address is not shown on public pages. Aliases are designed to reduce repeated disclosure of your real address to each source, not to hide the forwarding destination from TFWDS.
4. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to provide the services you request, including creating inboxes, forwarding incoming messages, verifying logins and responding to support requests. To maintain security and availability, we also apply rate limits, diagnose failures and prevent abuse.
Where applicable law requires consent, we will ask for it. Where contract performance, legitimate interests or legal obligations apply, we process data on the corresponding basis. We do not use email content to build advertising profiles.
5. Local storage and sessions
Browser local storage helps restore temporary email addresses that are still active and their expiry times. Session storage holds forwarding login status, verification-code cooldowns and interface state. This data usually remains on your device; clearing browser data removes the ability to restore it.
On a shared device, log out of the forwarding console and close the page after use. Do not send browser session tokens to anyone else, as the holder may gain access to the same session.
6. Retention and deletion
Temporary email addresses last three hours by default and can be extended, but never beyond 24 hours in total. Forwarded email archives are retained for 30 days. Security logs are usually kept for 30 days, but may be reasonably extended during an abuse or security investigation or to meet legal obligations.
Deleting an alias stops future routing but does not guarantee withdrawal of copies already delivered to your real mailbox. Deletion from backups may follow the rotation cycle and remains subject to integrity and legal requirements.
7. Service providers and disclosures
We may use hosting, network, email delivery and security providers to process data needed to deliver the service, limiting their use through contracts and access controls. These providers may process data only on our instructions and may not use email content for their own advertising.
We may disclose necessary information when required by valid legal process, to protect users and system security, or to investigate clear abuse. We do not sell personal information as a data-brokerage business.
8. International transfers
Our network and email infrastructure may operate outside your country, so data may be processed across borders. We use contractual clauses, access restrictions and other appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
Data protection rules differ across jurisdictions. We still require service providers to follow agreed security and purpose limitations.
9. Security measures
We use measures such as encryption in transit, permission isolation, short-lived tokens, rate limiting and operational logs to reduce risk. Real HTML email is displayed in a restricted frame to reduce the chance that message content can affect the site interface.
No system can promise absolute security. Use a unique password to protect your real email account, and enable two-step verification for your forwarding account.
10. Your choices and rights
You can change or stop using a temporary address, pause, resume or delete forwarding aliases, and log out. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access to, correction, deletion, restriction, objection to or export of account-related data.
When contacting us, include your account email, request type and any necessary verification information, but do not include a password or verification code. We will verify your identity and respond within the applicable period.
11. Children and prohibited uses
The service is not intended for children below the applicable local age of digital consent, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided us with information can contact us to request its deletion.
Anonymous email must not be used for harassment, fraud, infringement or bypassing lawful platform restrictions. If we find such activity, we may restrict the service and retain the minimum records needed for an investigation.
12. Changes, complaints and contact
We may update this notice when our features, legal requirements or security practices change, and will show the date at the top of the page. We will highlight significant changes appropriately, but you should also review the current version regularly.
For privacy questions or complaints, contact support@tempfwds.com. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority where you live without waiving any other remedy.
